I've got a NavMan 520 which is miles better now I've got Tom Tom installed on it.

Still takes ages to pick up though. I'm probably going to get an aerial extender/booster thingy to quicken up the picking up.

I have a TomTom One and I think it's brilliant. Quite a few of my mates have bought one after seeing mine working.

I have a Garmin i3 and have had no problems with it at all. I have also downloaded all the UK fixed and mobile speed camera sites onto it. I believe it is now a discontinued model which can be found for £99.00 at Halfords if they have any left. Geoff.

Er, I don't exactly know how my brother did it, but he already had the Tom Tom software and found a site that explained how to load it on to a NavMan. He had to fiddle around with the registry settings for starters, so not exactly easy. It has some version of Windows on it, so may even be able to use it as a PDA. Obviously we have paid for the Tom Tom s/w, so nothing dodgy was done.

I get the option of using either the NavMan s/w or Tom Tom. Needless to say, Tom Tom always wins. The warnings for known mobile speed trap sites alone is excellent, even if you know where you are going. It identified all of the sites I know about, plus a few more.
