Tenants stole my fridge, cooker and washing machine...
I posted before about my tenants that owed me a couple months rent.
I issued them with a Section 8 and 21 last week, just went round the house tonight and they've gone! (thank god)
However, they've taken the fridge, cooker and washing machine with them (cheeky f******s)
I guess I'll be making a visit to the police station tomorrow morning!

I was actually letting the house through an agency whilst living abroad, had to come back to see my grandfather who died last week from cancer.
The agency took a full inventory with me before I left.
They were local chavs unfortunately, the agency I went with are a bunch of t*ssers, I told them no housing benefit.
The first tenants were great, paid 6 months rent up front, it's this second lot that were the problem. I've kept the 500 bond, but they still owe me 900 in rent and several kitchen appliances!
Can't wait to get the house on the market and the money in the bank!

Could have been worse, much worse. I know of a guy who had his entire bathroom, and kitchen totally smashed to bits.
Insurance payed for it all, but he was almost in tears.
But bad luck anyway Cinders. Hope you get your stuff back

When I used to work with my Dad, we have been to incidents where they have taken everything including the light fittings and sockets. We were once called out to a recently evicted property to investigate a "electrical fault" and traced it back to the dead fish they had left under the floor boards.

Anyway if they had any sense they'll have sold your stuff on to buy glue or whatever it is they abuse. After all you have no evidence they took the stuff. Perhaps they left the door open and someone else had it?
What I'd do is track them down and make them suffer.

Unfortunately I don't believe in revenge. I have had thoughts of all the nasty things I could do to them but that's the reason I left the UK, to get away from that lifestyle (hence the Karma thing)
When I checked the property last night, they'd locked up and posted the keys through the door. They were the last tenants there and I have a full inventory of the items.
I also have copies of both of their passports, driving licences and parents addresses (on forms) - hopefully this will be enough for the police.

another "it could have been worse"
an Indian family who owned a house for rent in the scummy end of doncaster (broxholme lane, the knife fight alley for our asylum seeking friends)had Iraqis living there that were so filthy they had to throw out the beds, cupborads, curtains, everything and kicked them out. The filthy sods went back and threatened to torch the place if they werent allowed back in!
the hell is wrong with these people!?
