Default CSA..

.Child support agency.

Anyone know what is happening with this shower of dipsticks?

Should I keep paying or put the money aside?

Have always paid my way for the last 11 years even though it apparently costs 70p in the £ to process.

Help appreciated!

T'other half never paid after a certain point in time. They threatened and allsorts but he ignored them. They eventually gave up on him. No teeth.
He always buys the kids stuff anyway and found out that his "contributions"weren't necessarily going directly to his family.

Don't know why you bother with the CSA. If your happy to pay your ex-partner maintenance, why are the CSA involved at all.

Why not just set up a direct debit from you account to your ex-partners? Or do the CSA automatically get involved if your ex claims benefits?

Some partners are just not happy about paying maintenance at all, and would rather spend their money on themselves, and see their children go without

Not having a go at anyone on here, just that I know some people would rather not pay for their children because their ex partners have moved on, and think it is no longer their responsability to pay for their childrens upkeep, even by rights and by law that they should, and have never paid a penny to begin with

I dont necessarily agree with the CSA but there has to be some mechanism in place to make sure that the primary carer gets some help with raising children, from the non resident parent

Personally I think the old courts way was better, a mutual descision by both parents, endorsed by the courts (something along those lines anyway)

There was a thread here a bit back about non carers and whether they should pay or not

And before anyone of the fathers say anything, i havent mentioned them, as not all fathers are the non resident parents
