Can you imagine what would of happened 'opening' a restaurant in London called 'Crusaders Cross' and advertising it with historical pictures of 'Great Crusaders'.......... within 10 nano seconds there would've been a Muslim uprising......

Whilst in Germany for the world cup we stopped off in Achen and saw this bar. It had us in hysterics (remember we were pissed at the time too 
)

Good point Kiwi. Although to be fair if you open a place like that then Im sure the person would know what theyre doing. Probably wouldnt cause much offence in India though compared to many other places in the world.

I suspect that they are just using the imagery, its out of its European context over there, its like when you see Chinese style lettering on stuff and it could say anything, just going for the look, remember the Japanese wheels on Clarksons car world, they like ENglish test so on the side of the wheel it said something like,
'JUST A ROLLER SKATE GRAND TOURING ALL OVER THE PHYSICAL IRONIC POWER'
Profound stuff, admitedly not as direct as the Hitler thing but without finsing out the rationale behind the hoarding its difficult to see whether its a deliberate slur or just using the imagery.
I wish people would give up on the Offended thing, if somebody does it on purpose, ignore them it winds them up, if they dont do it on purpose either put them straight or ignore it, posting it as an example of how 'brown people' (as that seems to be the level of understanding of Asian culture for some)behave is just as ill advised and ignorant as the original sign.

All I know is that if I was to go to Deep Singh's beloved Walthamstow and opened up a "Allah is a ****" burger bar at least StiLover could shout "Paki" to his hearts content as the locals would be busy beheading me.

The swastik is a widely used sign of happiness, joy and luck in India. It is a tradtional Hindu symbol that has been around for about the last 3,000 years.
If you go to India you will see it painted on walls, used in religious iconography, used on signs etc.
Mix that with a lack of understanding of the holocaust and hey presto - stupid name for a cafeteria.
