Angry FFS paypal and ebay..

Some **** is trying to rip me off on paypal-

He won my item, then didnt want it. (about 8 days ago)

He still sent the payment through-is he thick or something.

I waited till the payment cleared, and as a good person I am sent the money back. (yesterday.)

Then f-ing 9 days after the payment the cheeky ****** has revered his payment, and now hold my money and his original cash. He even has good feedback for what its worth.

FFS I am seriously pi$$ed with this f*cking chav country.

Any ideas what to do? How can reverse my payment to him?

Off to cool off for a an hour or two.

Thanks

If they've claimed it their end, I think you may need to open a dispute, the following may help though:

How did you send it back?
If you sent him cash/cheque or another payment, then you were stupid.

There is a refund option for all payments received- full or partial refunds.

I would try the dispute system as previously suggested. I had a guy pay for something and then chose not to sign for it (recorded delivery) The ar$e then accused me of not sending it and went through paypal to recover his money from me.

Paypal froze my account, gave the guy his money and then told me I couldn't use my account until the balance was repaid. Royally cocked my account up for about a fortnight.

Paypal fell over themselves to give the pr1ck his money back. You can call them as well - didn't help my situation but helpful nonetheless on the phone.

Yup my account is frozen too with other items I sold being cancelled.

Gutted to say the least. Going through a dispute now but requires the other guy to agree- yeah right.

Can not belive that the scammer gets the fair end of the stick.

So rather than refunding what he sent you, you sent him a separate payment?

Yes as I deducted the listing fees and paypal fees.

I only sent it back yesterday. The money he sent to me in first place cleared- I am pissed off wit paypal- since when after the money has cleared can they just reverse a payment after 9 days!

The original money was mine it cleared for god sake,

Right,

Took your advice guys, opened a dispute and rang PayPal.

The guy it seems has nothing to do with it- Paypal have frozen our accounts, 11 days after the payments- tools.

He does not have my money- despite it saying completed on my summary.
I do not have his money despite it being in my bank account!

A warning to everyone- stop using Paypal as it is a pain in the ****!

Thanks for everyones help- much appriciated.

I think what caused the frozen accounts is the money going both ways on seperate transactions...

When you do a refund through PayPal you get the option of how much to refund
(I used this when the postage was drastically under what I charged one time)

I would guess if it had been done this way then there probably wouldn't have been a problem.

Just a thought anyway.

Ady.
