Why is it whenever you see a programme with chav homes in it, they ALL have a dado rail with some absolutely rank wallpaper above it and a dodgy pain colour underneath it (or is it the other way round)??

Are dado rails as trendy trackie bottoms or what?

Dunno, but we took the picture rail down in our house - all the walls are on the pi$$ and it looked silly.

i have an old mate i have known since we wer kids and TBH he is chavved up

the tracksuits, the nike air shox or whatever, the stripey jumpers, the whole package, he is a decent bloke, but now that you mention the dado rail with different wall paper types top and bottom, i might stop talking to him now

have to say as well, there is a variation

you put the dado rail up in a rectangle on the wall which covers the speakers on wall mounts, and inside you use the same wall paper that is around the bottom half of the room

I have seen this, mainly in my car trading days when picking up or dropping off bangers or buying bits, its always skuffed to f*ck as well, lots of kids with shaven heads and a Staffy, usually nice people though.
