Magners Cider
Anyone else a fan of this?
Usually i cant stand cider, but Saturday night was different
Started on my usual pint of Carling, decided i wanted a change, so went onto Magners, ended up quite pissed, but not rough on Sunday
It's "Monday Club" tonight in the local (just lager tho) @ £1.50 a pint! Tomorrow could be interesting, more so with my presentation at work......oh well!

Been drinking it all summer and love the stuff.
I got completly destroyed on it last weekend and made a idiot of myself in front of clients as a consequence
Went out and drank lager this weekend as I still couldn't face magners, yestersay was absolutely terrible not been that hungover for a long time It must be all the sh1te they put in lager.

Magners was a BIG disappointment. I live in Herefordshire (home of Bulmers)so Cider is 2nd nature.
I found it very bland in comparison to Strongbow, and to a lesser extent Merrydown.
And as for serving it with ice!!
Told my Dad about it, as in all fairness, the adverts do a very impressive job of selling the product.
His response was, with all due respect to the Irish, WTF do they know about making Cider!!!???
I've got to agree.
Still, Magners is a "beginners" cider - then once you're "in the know", you move on to better things

One of my favourite herefordshire ciders is stowford press, dry and about 6%. Anyone who drinks 8 pints or so of that stuff is in trouble

Its pretty good but as above, I dont live but spend most of my working time down in the south west and the draught cider is better, stowford press is a firm favourite of mine.

Of course you can buy Bulmers.
