Exclamation Samsung D500 users please help!

Hi all,
This is pretty urgent. My d500 screen has broke but the phone still turns on, I now have a new phone, but all my contacts are on the d500 not my sim card, if anyone has one could you just tell me how to get to "copy all to sim" (for example, menu, press up, select, then just the numbers of the options [as they are on the left e.g 5,4,6,7,select]) from memory, it is menu, up to get to phonebook, then it is about three other options to get to the copy all to sim bit, i would be extremely gratefull for any help

Scotty

Ps. only reply if u have quickly tried it and it definately the right combination, as i don't want to delete all my contacts.

I can only see a 'Copy all to phone' option, how daft. Maybe you could sync your contacts with a PC using bluetooth?

Aha I see. Ok here goes...

Top left for Menu,
2 for Contacts
7 for Management
2 for Copy all to phone/sim

It makes the 'bing bing bong' noise to say it's done.

Best of luck

mines with O2 as well, I wonder if an o2 shop can activate the option.

You could buy a data lead and transfer it to your PC and then transfer it back to your sim card

I was just going on this:

Mine is the same, only offers copy to phone even though all my contacts are already stored on the phone.

Is it because the sim can't store contacts with multiple numbers etc, and the original poster only has old skool name and number style contacts?

No, the D500 is fairly rubbish in that you can copy everything FROM the SIM card but there is nothing to enable you to copy back to SIM, unless you bluetooth the contacts to another Samsung or buy a data lead.
At least nokia let you do this even if you did end up with bizarre characters in the name! I'm not looking forward to buying a new moby!!!!!!!!!!
