Default large diameter Alluminium tube required

I'm after some long length large diamerter aluminium tube.

roughly 9 metres long by 254mm O/D with a 1/4 - 1 inch wall thickness.


any one have any ideas?????

pace might do it for you but 25.4cm diameter is alot to ask for...

It doesnt mention alloy piping on their web site but they definately do it, probably worth giving them a call.

that is a big ol tube and a fair length too. On or above the max size for most dies that you can make to extrude the tube.

It's unlikely you'll get it extruded in a 9m length unless you're prepared to buy several tonnes of the stuff, even then, as mentioned above you'll struggle to get a die big enough. The length you want only weighs around 123kgs. What alloy spec does the tube have to be ?

5083 and to be honest we only need one piece

In that case it might be better to stop looking for an extrusion and consider getting it fabricated instead (seam welded & suchlike)

10" OD tube is pretty standard, not sure on the 9m length though...
