i dont know if any of u know
i got a message from leslie, God bless your mum my bros, i got a message yesterday and i woz hardly on and replied back and give leslie a scoobynet hug guys, his mum passed on and she is in a better place, she passed away 2 days ago
leslie my dear bros, your wonderful mother woz a traveller in this world and now she has reached heaven and an eternal and wonderful life ameen
may God grant u patience and your family

Thank you Moses and everyone else for the kind messages. It is a hard time of course and she was an outstanding person in every respect. She was Austrian and came over here before the war to work as a Tweeny in a big house to get away from Hitler and the *****. She married my Dad who was the head gardener. She once danced with the Duke of Windsor when she was working in a hotel in Kitzbuhel which is still there!
She and my Dad who passed away some years ago did everything for my sister and me with so many self sacrifices. The funeral will a difficult occasion for us but we intend to celebrate her wonderful life, She would have been 97 in October.

my thoughts are with you and your family leslie. as you know we had my mums funeral yesterday.
today feels like the first day of the rest of my life. i hope you will feel like this too. your mum would be proud of you i am sure....and not forgetting that you are going through your own struggle with cancer. you need to be stronger now than ever before. i hope your chemo will bring the results you have fought so hard to achieve. keep it together leslie, as i am sure you will...and dont ever forget that we are all here supporting you during and after this difficult time.

I know exactly what your going through, yesterday was 6 months to the day that my dad passed away due to stomach cancer aged 64.
My thoughts are with you.

Lost my dad yo cancer nearly ten years ago at the age of 72 too cancer, he was a good man, fought bravely for his county in the RN during WW2 . Saved a boy from drowning when on leave by jumping into a fast movig river risking his own life.
Worked hard and raised a family. He was a great father to me and i hope i can live up to his high standards and he would be proud.
