Nascar race anyone been ?
as per title has any one been to a NASCAR race in the states ? thinking of doing Daytona next Feb.

Me & Mrs had passenger rides in a pair of Nascars round Daytona a couple of years ago, best £100 I ever spent! 
That was midweek though, race weekend is pretty mental by all accounts. We were moving on that weekend so didn't go to the race.

If you can, give it a watch on TV before going, see if you think you'll enjoy it. Right now I can say it's a tad boring, about 3 - 4 hours of drivers going round an oval, hmm, hardly that stimulating, but there are some impressive crashes, plus there are a few circuit tracks, but I don't think Daytona is one of them.
Having said that, I may be watching NASCAR next year when Montoya shows up, just to see how he fairs.
