What would God say?
About / To....
To suicide bombers just before they wasted a load of lives.
Westerners living in excess luxury whilst they KNOW people starve.
All religions insisting that theirs is the only true religion.
The Vatican dripping in gold and diamonds while millions starve whilst the
pope pontificates like he knows something we don't.
Religion addicts killing in the name of God.(like God can't fight it's own battles)
People who leave paid employment to give their life in the selfless service of others.
The British Empire trying to take over the world, only to have Islamic extremists try to do the same thing a few years later and Britain getting all snotty about it.
People forgetting that they are animals that just happen to speak and look all fancy.
People who live hard lives whilst also on the poverty line and STILL manage to do more to heal the worlds ills than most other people.
A massive influx of "make believe" violence and sex [films and games]and a mysterious coresponding rise in violence and sex crimes.[I't CAN'T be the films/games or we'd have ...........weak ,inefective, ignored, circumvented, taken with a pinch of salt, overuled by parents,.................. age "limits" on them, oops we already do]
About finding a small amount of cash each month to help the starving.
About bieng scared to admit that we don't believe in a creator.
About nobody bothering to talk about wtf humans are, and wtf life is ,and wtf are we doing here ,and is there a 'why' to our existance,etc,etc,...
About long winded posts on forums
About people who think God has no soh.

He'll make a note that upon creation of the next universe/dimension to not create humans.
Or, on the flip side: If humans are here for his sole amusment....make them more self-destructive

The proof that God exists is that everything that can either prove or disprove Gods existance has many other interpretations/explanations ,including this very statement, thus making any such claim to non/ or existance null /void ,unless any possible argument cannot be held to be true or false,as is the case on Earth ,therefore rendering the existance of God as undeniable and yet deniable at the same time,as any such knowledge in surity would undermine the ability to polish our souls in such an unfettered and genuine way.
Then again God might just not exist....

Religion/Gods and their control over all mankind is the root of all evil.
If you go to a church in mass and pray to your God you are deemed wonderfull (in that group).
State outside that group (or within it) that your God 'told you' to do something then you are off your trolley.
There is no logic or sensibility to any of it.
you can help others
You can be decent to yourself, your family, your fellow man
If you want/need to do these things you do not need a God or a heavenly belief, just treat others the way you would wish to be treated.
Consideration, fairness, understanding, even tolerance, and respect; who needs more?
Religions were created by those who wanted to control the masses for material gain, wealth/land etc.
That control is maintained by extreem points of view and the belief that there is only one god, the one you want or the one schools and fear brainwashed simple folk way back and lives on.
'Believe my God or i will cut your head off and you will go to hell and burn forever''
Powerful 500/1000/2006 years ago, laughable now.
Who needs a God?
Those without a mind, or are insecure, or want to dominate and control.
Graham.

If God existed he would ask everybody arriving at the gates just one question - irrespective of how they arrived there.
"Do you know of a good marketting Company ?"

All good questions matty, and there aren't any obvious answers. Again, going back to last night's programme, it brings it home just how indoctrinated religion is for so many people. There isn't even any question of whether there's a God or not. If it's in the Quoran, it must be right, end of discussion. No compromise. And there are of course Christians who are equally convinced about the Bible, etc etc. To me, it's a total corruption of the mind, the whole lot of it.

At least the British empire dragged countries forward, rather than Islam trying to drag countries back!

Belief in a God is a personal thing of course but it is unnecessary to denigrate or make fun of those who do. It all comes under the tolerance that someone suggested above.
As I have said before, when this was a largely Christian country, ie people did believe in God, it was a far far better place to live. Crime and nasty behaviour was comparatively non existent and youi could go out at night without any kind of concern.
Compare it with life in general today and see what you think is better!

And when the scum used to get Ill - they died.
Now we all pay the NHS to make then well again.
Abolish the NHS and the welfare state and we'll be back to your Utopia - Making Religous studies compulsory in Scholl will have **** all effect !

Jasey,
The NHS was in existence then and it has always been a good thing to have in my opinion. Old Labour deserves full praise for that as well as the 11 plus exam which gve so many working class children a good chance in life.
You only got topped then for murder or treason. It used to make people think twice before doing that sort of thing. Prison was also an unpleasant place to be, maybe if it was still like that with appropriate sentences too, then they would not be so crowded.
It was by no means a Utopia, the standard of living was a lot lower than now, but people still had a happier life and there were not so many paedo's around either. There used to be a sense of shame if you were caught misbehaving.
