dam! double dam!! and tripple ffkn dam!!!
Could it get any worse
i left my job today, and during my exit interview, i enquired when i would get paid for the work done this month?
You will get paid as normal at the end of the month, i was informed. then she added but you should know that allready, as youve been paid last month..
erm no!! i informed her, i,m still waiting for my pay slip?? so after a few phone calls, it transpires, that i havnt been paid, and i may not get paid untill the end of august, oh deep joy but they might be able to forward me some money in the interim. ) they will call me back next week
double damm
the exhaust has gone on my soot buurner 1.9tdi mk1, so i went in to get a new back box fitted... erm no...
good old seat in there infinite wisdom fitted an all in one system with no joins, ffs!!! so i now have to go from the cat back, 1 forward box (which is fine) 1 intermediate box (which is fine) just to replace a knackered back box!!
so the cost has gone up froma reasonable £80 to a whopping £250 FFS jeesus, anyone know if i can get a better system for that money..
tripple damm
and on arriving home the wife informs me her zorst has gone as well
so i looked underneath, and hopefully its just a back box, as its gone at the pipe join at the centre pipe to bb manifold, (luckily on the bb side).. but sods law says we will need both bits.
so what else can f*ck my day up ?

RR contacted me and offered me a role, so it made sense to go now, than wait 6-8 months and then find i,m out of a job again.
and the perks are better too

For the zorsts, why not find your local Powerflow centre and they will make up whatever you need in as many sections as you want. Not too sure but they may offer mild steel as a cheap alternative, but their SS systems aren't too pricey. Not the best you can get, but fine on an oil-burner.

most exhaust places will fit just the backbox - they cut the origional 1 off and use a sleeve to mate the new 1 to the mid-pipe
I had this on my old 172 which had a 1 piece - to replace the 1 piece they'd have to drop the rear axle!

I went into my local place, they said they can either sleeve it to fit, or if the bore is marginally bigger, they can go over the top.
will cost about £100 they reckon
cheaper than a new system
