What to do in Germany
Im in Germany form the 14th in the area of Cologne.
Does anyone know of any great places in that part of Germany, I aim to visit Cologne for a day or so. I have a car and can travel further afield.
Any advice welcome what is out there?

Seriously, I wouldn't bring the subject up in Germany, they are very apologetic but a bit touchy still.You must have a look at the Cathedral (Dom), it's one of the most famous landmarks in Germany. Outside that I can only thing of the Chocolate museum that's along the bank of the Rhein. Don't know about the night life but I'm sure there's plenty!

The cathedral is mint, just by the railway station. Is really nice down by the river and like DarkStar said the Choc museum is pretty cool. If you feeling adventurous take the tram (free at weekends) down to the Russian quarter, there are some different bars down there.
Is pretty nice all round the Effiel (sp) region, night life is not going to be a problem, loads of bars, clubs, and erm alternative entertainment

You HAVE to visit the Nürburgring, of course! And the dale of the River Rhine between Koblenz and Bingen is one of the most beautyful countrysides in Germany.
And girls? Hm, Cologne is Gay-Town no. 1 in Germany so girls will be rare

At least it's better than the village of **** in southern Germany. No girls at all there!!!

stay there until late september and then get yourself over to the oktoberfest in munich! apparently airninja.com can sort your flights out for you!
ps - avoid your car for approx 2 days afterwards!
darkstar and goep - lol. is **** the place where the brits kept stealing the roadsign at the entrance to the village and it was costing the locals a fortune in increased taxes?

Eat sausages that resemble bike inner tubes and spend weeks trying to locate the one decent looking woman in whatever area you visit.
Their fashion sense will keep you amused for the entire time though

Go to Germany, get p1ssed, **** a Prostitute. Get drunk some more, while standing outside a German bar chanting England songs. Repeat shouting "ENGERLAND ENGERLAND ENGERLAND. Abuse any German that walks past you while shouting "Zieg Hild" while standing to attention giving the **** salute. Get arrested while single handly fighting with 7 batten wealding police offices, then spend the night in jail, still chanting England songs. Wake up in the Morning with a hangover while repeatedly saying how sorry you are. Get deported home, then tell all your mate what a laugh Germany is.

get yourself up to Hamburg and visit the reaperbahn, you will be amazed at the liberal attitude towards sex that they have there!!! you will not know where to put your eyes
