Bike Rental in Essex or Afan (Wales)
Looking to rent a mountain bike for a MB holiday in Wales...
Either rent it near home (Chelmsford) or once i get there
Anyone know of a good place?
Ideas of price?? Ideally a bike with full suspension... can you rent the protective equipment aswell?
Thanks

Hmm, tis quite expensive to rent by the looks of it
would only need to go twice and could buy one!
imagine it would be quite a low spec and heavy bike for <£200 wont it?

Good price, looks like it weighs more than me though!

A fine piece of kit... if you have a wish to finish in A&E. Either with from a heart attack trying to pedal it up the hill or from it falling apart going down the otherside.

Wez if your off to North wales, Coed y Brenin, Betws y coed etc i'd rent one when u get there M8, to buy a £200 bike and take it on the best singletrack anywhere in the UK, with drop off's, berms, jumps, and rocks like your gonna find, i'd not think a £200 bike would stand up to it too well.
I'm back off up there the end of August and can't wait, if u get chance do the Marin trail or Redbull run they are just summin else Just hope u like climbing as much as u like the downhills

yeah alot of my mates go quite alot, sounded like fun so said i was up for the next one
they kind of said what you've said, ie that a ~£200 just wont take it
Think i'll rent one for now, if i get really into it i might be willing to spend the extra dosh!
I think i will as i like a bit of an adrenaline rush here and there!
