Why Is It
Just wondering why when someone makes a statement about API thats not praising them it gets deleted?, read one the other day about a problem with them and it's gone, just wondering if he resolved his problem?

It's probably because name and shame is against the T&C's. Or, as you say, it could be due to the issue being resolved so the thread would have been pointless.
If you're into conspiracy theories then you could say it's because they are a forum sponsor and might decide not to sponsor anymore if bad comments are not removed, and thus SN would be down £XXX a month (though I doubt the loss on one sponsor would cause much of a problem).
