does anybody know where this is!
i need to know the name of a road in Northhampton.
the road is fairly new and is built around one of those really high old brick chimley things. the chimley can be seen for miles. the road is a cul-de-sac sort of road. the flats/appartments have a lot of glass on the front of them. toys r us is quite near. does anybody know where i mean?
i meant to put a question mark in the thread title

It's not a flipping chimney
It's where they used to test lifts in the olden days. Recently the company that built the houses wanted permission to demolish it. The local council would not grant it - thank God. It is a listed building and something Northampton is famous for, (apart from shoes!)
The houses and flats around it are very nice, but not in the best area of town. Not bad for singletons.

You can see the road in question running around the tower. Its not on the OS maps yet as its so new, you'll need someone local to go around there and look.

roflmao yes the approach is a long road that is straight, it leads from weedon road down to the tower, and then goes round it and down to the bottom of the site. multimap is a bit out of date there lol
