Yup, Everytime I access SN, I am not logged in anymore (no changes to my settings on the pc). When I enter my user name and password I get a white screen with some writing telling me that there's an error.
If I log in by trying to post a reply to a thread such as this, it lets me in, as you can see
Its all gone a bit barmy, but Im sure our illustrious SN gods are onto it....

Something to do with cookies...?
I has loads of trouble, but once I deleted my cookies and old files, all was well again.
Trouble is, not being an IT whiz means that I've had to delete all my cookies for all the other sites I visit.

Clear your cookies and start over. I use C Cleaner it's amazing how much internet related cr*p it deletes from your hard drive.
