House choice?
OK I've been looking on the housing market, and I'm stuck. I've got three particular houses in mind. All are the same price (my max budget) and fit the bill in some ways, but not all. Granted, it's got to be my choice, and I know I'll prob know when I find the right one. Just wanted your thoughts.
Here goes:
House (1): Great area, off road parking, nice externally, but poor inside, and no garage.
House (2): Dodgy-ish area, nice house well decorated, very good inside. Off road parking
House (3): Stunning Victorian terrace, gorgeous inside. But no parking whatsoever.
House wise I want to go for (3), anyone any solutions to lack of parking/drive space? I don't really want to give up my 'nice' car, or risk street parking with it
Spending more is not an option. Suggestions?

Would go for number 1 as well, depends how handy you are about the place as interior isnt that hard to sort if it is just decorating and nothing more structural than that. It really is location, location, location so number two would be scrubbed off my list, I wouldnt concider a bad location just cos the wall paper was nice on the inside.
But if you are in no hurry, take your time and keep looking, its a big purchase.
Good luck.

If you value off street parking, or like myself will not entertain anything without a garage (or scope for one) then house number 3 shouldn't have even been considered as an option.
IMO don't compromise, you'll only regret it later. a house is the biggest purchase most of us will ever make, so make sure it ticks all boxes

Worst house in the best area, that is advice given to me by wancoughker (estate agent)
No parking stuff; have a cousin lives in London and you have to play hunt the car because you are unable to park anywhere near your house (she has an MX5, so every **** has one)
I'll have a 1 please Bob

I would keep looking as none of them are right for you.
If you need to move soon then house 1 sounds the best. It is always advisable to get the worst property in the best area.

take a step back and look at it from another point of view. if you were your buyer (when you;re ready to sell and move on), would any of these interest you. if yes and it's only no.1 then, that's probably the right move (bearing in mind you seem to prefer that one AND from the sounds of it, that would be the easiest one to resell
