I am looking into getting a new TV but don't really know what to look for so looking for some good advice

I don’t really want a 42" Plasma thing because that will be too big for the size of the room it's in so I am guessing that I will need a LCD TV? I’m probably looking at a 32” or 37” something like that.

What should I look out for when looking around at the TV's, are there particular things to look for in the spec?

For the time being I will be using it on normal analogue so guess the picture won’t be 100%, but plan on getting Sky a bit later. Will also be looking out for a DVD player too.

So has anyone got any recommendations?

I am probably looking at spending around 1k – 1.2k ish for the TV.
