just had a look at my license

and am wondering can i get a new clean license now

it says

date of conviction.
30 - 04- 03

date of offence

03-02-03

sentenced

09- 06- 03

3 years till the offense is wiped of your record, 4 years from your licence

Nope, can't delete them until four years after, although they don't count for totting up any more...

Still need to tell your insurance company even once they have cleared as they always state any claims or convictions in the last 5 years.

Also IIRC you have to pay for the replacement licence with points removed If you change address then the licence is free and the points will disappear automatically. Why would you want to pay to have the points removed?

i sent my license off last year as the points had been on for 5 years (i forgot about them), i sent a cheque (£17 i think) and the forms.
After 4 weeks i got everything back (papers, cheque, etc) and a letter saying i couldn't have a replacement, i had to apply for 1 of the new sytle ones?
Didn't bother in the end - thought i'd keep the old 1 with the out of date points
