Anyone been to Sicily?
I've booked to go to sicily in August for 2 weeks and was just seeking information from anyone who has been. Staying in Taormina as it seems very popular.
Will definately take a closer look at Mount Etna and some historical sites etc.
We like eating out and people watching (no, not *******
). Have been to Sorrento and Lake Garda so hoping to enjoy the same sort of holiday.
Planning to hire a car and hopefully finding some nice roads too

Apparently you hike up Etna (or is it Stromboli) to arrive at the crater at dawn, lie down, look at the orange glow by the stars... supposed to be quite something.
