Electric Cooker (Help please!)
Not sure if this should be in DIY but sure the mods will move it if necessary.
Are there any apporved electricla oven fitters on Scoobynet that cover the Middlesex area?
The reason I ask is that my fiance and me are purchasing house at the moment (fingers crossed.....) It currently has a gas cooker that will be taken when the vendor moves out.
We want an electric cooker and want to know roughly how much an installation charge will be. I am guessing there is no connection for the electrics so want a rough idea of what I am looking at.
It is a couple of months away but would prefer to give the work to a fellow scoobynetter rather than someone I don't know or trust.
Thanks in advance.

most houses will have a gas point and an elecctric point (mains for cooker 60 amp) in the kitchen, its just a matter of running the wire to the socket. mind you if you buy some of the mewer ovens, they run off a 3 pin plug
