Default Cheapest place to buy a TOMTOM?

Im looking to buy a pressie for a friend, and have decided to get him a TOMTOM. Im not sure which one to go for, but my budget is about £220, although ideally Id like to spend less!!

Where can I find a new Tomtom for at the best price?

All answers welcomed!!

tomtom one would be the "cheapest" with out full postcode

pretty useless for me!

I have got TT700, TT510 and TT910 all good

paid £325 (with extra bag faceplate, micraphone etc) £301 and £398

All very good

Just got a Garmin i3 for £99 and it's fantastic for the money (full postcode search, speed-based POI alerts, my mum can work it). I have played with my mate's TomTom and it's a bit better in some ways, but not 3x better in any way.

Dixons at the moment are doing free delivery on a Tom Tom One and if you use the code perkz20dix you get an additional £20 off.

Total price delivered £194.99 which is not bad.
If you go through quidco you get an extra £7 off on top.

Go for a Mio 510 (rrp £239) - best of all of them. Graphics are very nice, has SIRF GPS, Bluetooth, TMC capable (buy antenna separately) and has full Europe maps supplied on DVD (full UK installed) so just need a 2GB SD card which are only £25.

Plus it fits in your pocket unlike the Tomtoms.

Tottenham Court Rd has a few shops that sell them.

This place has most brands on demo and you can test them all.

Is the TOMTOM one the latest one, or the basic one? Does it have postcode search facility, as there seem sto be some contradicting comments above...now im confused!!

TomTom is one of the latest ones and it does have built in postcode search.
