sounds like a gum infection of some kind. Dentist will prescribe you with anti biotics if/ when you get in to see one.

Chemist lady said this stuff is good too, just been to ASDA and bought some on your suggestion! Seems to have reduced pain slightly... obviously gonna give it a few days... still feel uncomfortable but I can handle it I guess, if no change by morning.. I work nights, I will get the emergency appointment.. if I can

Cheers

Its not like massive pain or anything.. yet, but its so annoying and its not like I can hold it or rub it or anything like a sore finger.. of which I also have one of those

Its aching now again I tend to panic a bit too being a total dentist hating freak! Used to be ok until I reached 20 then for some reason they scared the crap outa me. Never go but treat my teeth really well, or so I thought !

everytime I go they try to give me a filling ! I never suffered with pain before either

I'm not being funny, but have you flossed. You may have a bit of meat stuck between your teeth somewhere, this will aggravate like hell and could cause a bit of an ache

since I moved from Manchester up to Durham 3 years ago, I lost my dentist.. and i can't find one up here for NHS treatment.
I need a good bit of work doing on my teeth.. a good few fillings etc... which I don't mind having... it's injections i don't like... so I won't have one when i have fillings done!

I think it's ridiculous that all dentists are on the verge of going private... even my kids suffer too... can't get them in to keep their teeth in check.

My dentist is fantastic, he is on Team Valley, Gateshead, you may want to try ringing him. Not sure if he has any places but worth a try
