I was at the london motor show on wednesday and found the Tomtom stand. I took the opportunity to grab one of the boffins and have a good grumble that there hasn't been a map update for a long time.

Friends have bought new Tomtom units which have a newer map set, but this hasn't been released to us older users as an update. Poor show.

Anyway I was told that there will be a new version released in a month.

I run Tomtom on my Palm so was told it will be version 6.

I won't hold my breath but looks as if things are on there way
