Something i'd like cleared up
First of all this isn't for me and as i've noticed you lot have a wealth of knowledge i thought i'd ask onm his behalf.
Okay to put you in the picture.
Dual carriage exit by where i live has had it speed limit changed from 60 down to a paltry 30 mph the dual carriage way itself has been changed from 70 mph to 60 mph..
so the exit is a long 300 yard odd sweeping left hander totally capable of doing say 55mph no problem but as i've said they changed it to 30 mph anyway going off track here.
my friend is driving through the left hand exit doing he said around 40, all of a sudden he see some bloke dressed all in black with his leg kind of knelt on a wall which is say 1 meter high this guy is looking at what he describes as a black box.
now this bloke is probably plod/police what ever you want to call them as theres a motorbike a little way around the bend so unmarked copper with speed camera which is perched on a wall my question is..
Should the copper of been wearing a flourescent jacket ( which i thought they had to by law ) should the camera not have been more visible as if it was perched on a wall it would be classed as static theorectically if its hand held he should be holding it ?
anyone got any comments
Thanks

Sound like a radar gun not a camera. if you were doing 40 they probs wont go after you but if some one came round the bend doing 60 odd they most certainly would come after you.

i should imagine if they are doing it they checked legality before hand. Doubt they would waste their time if they knew it wouldnt stand up in court. then again some sado people monitor traffic with gun things.

They're not allowed to be breaking the law when they are trapping you.
Not sure if parking on an exit road is illegal - but if it is they're on a sticky wicket.
