Niche music - help !
My stepdaughter has asked me to get her some niche CDs for her birthday, but I haven't a bloody clue what to get her ! The only dance music I really listen to is trance and hard house, so I'm a bit out of my depth. I know she has stuff by DJ Danny Bond and DJ Rankin, but can anyone come up with some other recommendations, maybe a compilation CD or some other DJs I can check out.
Cheers !

The above links will help mate. Basically when people are referring to 'Niche' they are referring to a mixture of bassline house, speed garage etc. Niche isn't really the name of the genre, its just what people call it as a result of a club in Sheffield that used to specialise in that particular music. AFAIK the original Niche nightclub closed down several months ago, but the night has been taken on by someone else now.

LOL, is it really that old, L?! What's the big box little box thing, DCI? I don't do this trance thing very often! But Inner Limits seems more musical than much of what i've heard. I got a Wildchild triple CD too and that just seems to be the same track over and over!
