Belated birthday celebrations for me....!
Looking for somewhere with either Dirty House, or maybe BreakBeat or a combination of the two...
May go to the usual suspects Turnmills etc.. but wondered if anyone knew of anything extra special going doooooown!?!?

Nope we have some awesome little dirty house and breaks nights.
Its a very underground scene here.
I usually go to a night called discoslut for my fix.
My friend pete carvelle runs it and hes also played at sankeys once.

Extra special?
Get your *** over to NY for josh wink at pacha NYC.
or Satoshi Tomeii & Hector Romero (Def Mix) @ pacha ibiza (probably slightly cheaper+ easier in terms of flights for you from stanstead )
Cant think of any more of hand (other than those above) but will keep my ears peeled. Seems to be a quiet weekend that one!
Not so much in dirty house TBH- can write and produce it until the cows come home, but the vast majority of the crap being churned out at the moment bores the **** out of me.
As for where I am- what I like, and what/where I play to pay the bills are very different things!

sounds good, whats Circo Loco all about, as luck would have it it's the only one without a discription in 'Nights'...

There's a barn dance in the local village hall... I can see if they still have tickets? It normally gets quite 'messy' as you say, but naturally everyone stays to help clear up.

Some good tips there
I DJ'd with music i detested with a passion at the start! Need to play what pays!
On the up side you do get to earn your living as a DJ and live this jet set lifestyle
Would love to go to NY at some point. Would like to live there/work there for a while. Are working Visa's hard to get??

As a dj? impossible- unless you have a) press b) records out that have sold well c) awards d) an established repuation as 'an artist of exceptional or extrordinary ability' with documents to back it up or e) a full time job lined up (which doesnt happen in this business really does it?!) Loads of other facotrs and small print.
A visitors working visa (as opposed to live/work visa) is slightly easier to get if you have some gigs lined up- but then you have to leave and come back to this ****hole and cant stay there or live there.
Hence why im packing it in for something totally different when I am over there Am sick of the business anyway truth be told.

ooooh you bitter man!
In an ideal world as a DJ yeah but i'm old enough now to realise that wont happen! Would work anywhere really, just for the experience of another city. Bar work, restuarant, office. Dont care!
