On the 6th of july i crossed the severn bridge to wales in my work van.

M49 is a 70mph motorway until you reach the tolls, (or a mile ish before)
So being speed concious I slowed to 50mph way before the 50 limit (was actually looking for the correct lane).

During my 50mph travels towards the tolls soo many other cars went flying past doing in excess of 70mph then i saw the brake lights coming on, I could see the camera van in the distance and checked my speedo yes i was doing 47ish.

But low and behold this morning at work i had a letter from the welsh coppers telling me i was doing 67 in a 50mph limit.

What the hell can i do i know i was within the limit but how can i prove it???

I have three points and dont want the other three when i wasnt speeding anyway!

Have requested evidence will wait and see what happens.

I do intend on taking this to court if need be!
I'm not trying to get out of speeding but I am 100% certain i was well within the limit.

Just to point out that you do not have to prove your innocence - they have to prove your guilt.

Get the 'proof' from the, and see how you get on

That kind of thing is a nightmare. I would fight it to the bitter end. Hope the evidence proves you were in the right.
