Italy - World Cup Winners
I suppose it is somewhat appropriate that a corrupt football nation wins the World Cup, which is administered by a corrupt governing body, FIFA

As for the game France were the better side overall then Zidane showed his true colours and screwed it up for them. Couldn't have happened to a nicer bunch of people.

I thought the Italians deserved the victory overall but France did play a lot better during the secong half.
Sorry to see Zidane put a blot on his career in his last match. Wonder what really provoked his unfortunate loss of self control.

Cannavaro played awsome throughout the tournament IMO, never made a rash challenge, played the ball from defence every time he had it and never hit it 40+ yards once. I think there were many better players than Zidane in the WC this year. Its obviously been given to him as a goodbye present from FIFA

Delighted the italians won it, thought they have played quite sublimed football the whole tournament.
Cannavaro has been immense.
Also had a tenner on them to win the tournament at 12-1
When I was a kid growing up Italian football was the beautiful game, true football fans will always remember italy 90.
