Which table saw?
Looking for a table saw for doing household projects, anybody got any recommendations. Looking for a reasonable sized table with a budget of up to £400 or so - cheaper is fine

Rutlands (www.rutlands.co.uk I think) have some decent stuff at pretty competitive prices.
I'd say might be worth avoiding the Fox stuff (it is cheap), we tried some of it at work, and we came to the conclusion that you get what you pay for...

Cheers - but unless I'm missing something, Fox is the only one they do - looks nice in the picture, but don't they all?
Been looking at some of the SIP kit, been impressed with the mitre saw I had from them. Also some of the stuff from Axminster.
Has anybody used either of these and can comment?

Both a take on combination table saws, not a massive depth of cut though, which may (or may not) be a drawback, I have used the 711 before and it def has some ***** behind it.
This is a little over budget but a dedicated saw:

In my exp SIP is more geared toward the light home user, very cheap and wont last with any kind of constant use. That being said, I used a SIP compund sliding mitre saw commercialy for a year with no major problems.

Been looking that the Bosch on eBay as well as Ryobi. Just wondering if I may be better to hold off a while and go for one of the big beasties.

and managed to spray blood all over it, had 10 stitches outside and i think about 3 inside holding the tendon together, now got a nice 'v' shaped scar that runs the length of my thumb.
