Default car insurers advice

I havent changed insurance companies in over ten years but this year for some reason Norwich Union are taking the p!ss

I've been on confused.com and got some startling deals but I'm a bit of a chicken and dont trust companies I've never heard of.

Two I'm interested in are Easymoneyinsurance (ie stelios and co) who ok I've heard of but is the insurance as cheap and nasty as the flights? and localbroker.co.uk who I've never heard of.

If anyone has any experience of either of these - good or bad - I'd appreciate you sharing it

The other person to talk to is Gary Moulson - Keith Michaels Insurance.

Very highly regarded on here.

I have a 2l Mondeo TDCI, and am with Norwich union, just got my renewal and they have added £200 to my quote!! with an extra years no claims and i'm now over 25! (now have 5 years no claims!) so they are quoting me £800!

Had a quote from budget which is about £430.

Think Norwich union are taking the **** too!

My fella had his classic import WRX insured with Norwich Union. He then changed his car to a Golf GT TDI and the premium was exactly the same
