The man who infamously "forgot" a drug test? Oh right......good example to young players then.

Give it to Hargreaves, the only man who PLAYED the full 120 minutes, for me.

Rio is the last person on that team that should be used as a role model for every football playing youngster in the country.

I'd like to see Lampard resign, more shots than anyone else in the world cup and not many of them were on target, not to mention not a single goal scored.
I expected better after all the hype

and the ones that were on target where always straight at the keeper!!

Should have swapped him and gerrard around, making gerrard push forward and lampard sit in front of the back four.

Only 2 and a half years ago, theyre right though, I just cant see Rio stood giving a motivational speech to the lads in the dressing room. Give it to someone who looks like they care about the result on the pitch.

fair point, I know very little indeed about who does what on or off the pitch TBH, just think its a bit daft to think that there are any players that dont indulge now and again

Poor old Becks... I felt quite sorry for him. He is an icon, like it or not, a cross between Bowie and Clint Eastwood.

Two more heroes of mine.

It's the end of an era....

Is there another Gerrard?

The only players who played well, and the ones that didn't was down to Sven tactics, were:

Rio
Terry
Cole X 2
Crouch

The rest must be angry at Sven for making them ineffective.

Captain should be a leader, not (just) a good player.
