On freeview does anyone else think its not that great. I was just watching it then went into another room with BBC2 on a normal aerial and BBC2 was far better.
BBC2 on freeview compared to BBC2 on normal aerial compares okay,although when i plugged my freeview aerial straight into the tv,excellent picture on BBC2.

Someone here said its because freeview bandwidth is quite low.

I see you're in Lincolnshire - does your aerial point South/South Westish? We normally get a good picture but channel hopping last night & I couldn't get E4 at all let alone BBC1/2 etc. May have been a transmitter problem & I think its that big bugger over by Peterborough as our aerial points in that direction.

E4 has a lower bandwidth than C4; so the picture will show artifacts and macro blocks during fast-moving scenes. These shortcomings will be magnified on a larger LCD/Plasma display.
