Astonished bar keeper Herrmann Murr said: "Never have I seen so many drink so much in such little time."

Churchill's influence has crossed the hinterland

Thats mad!! I don't think I queued more than 5 mins for a beer at the fan fest in Stuttgart.

But I can see where all the beer went below is an arial pic of Schloßplatz in Stuttgart during the game

As you can see there are one or two people there watching the 3 screens

Yes Wurzel
Stuttgart was a very good set upwith the big sceens being in the center of town and as you say beer being easy to buy with no real quing times.

Are you heading oop north to see the Portugal game. A bit far for me, so I am banking on England meeting Brazil in the Semis in München.

"In Nuremberg, organisers revealed 70,000 England fans who flooded the city drank 1.2MILLION pints of beer - an average of 17 pints each."

After drinking that much, I'm not surprised they flooded the city

Best thing about it is it isnt filled with cr@ppy chemicals like you get in Stella, Fosters, Carling etc... We drank loads every day and only felt rough when it was a late night and an early morning. Generally we felt fine the next day

Tiz true, there are only 4 ingredients allowed by law in German bier, no chemicals or preservatives etc, you can drink loads of it get drunk but not feel like a zombie the next day.

Saying that if you drink the Hefe Weizen (cloudy wheat beer) you get some wierd and freaky trippy dreams

Well I do anyway
