Couple from Egypt in 2004, an experience we’ll never forget. Drifting over the Valley of the Kings watching the sun come up.
It’s a great experience, she will enjoy it where ever you do it.

Lift off is almost surreal, if your not watching you don't even know you have left the ground.

i'm not a fan of flying, but went along with a group of colleagues just for the experience. it's very peaceful, great views etc, but take a hat! i have a great photo of us all in the 'basket' at home
we went from gt leighs showground (essex). not quite australia or egypt but you have to start somewhere!
would definately recommend the experience

I really don't like flying - but I loved being in a hot air balloon! For me it's the fact that ever since I was a kid I've known balloons could fly - but great hunks of metal...?
It was peaceful and relaxing - because you're being carried by the wind, you don't hear it whistling past you.
Landing can be a bit bumpy though!

They're like the shed draggers of the skies, and they have right of way which can be a pain in the **** when you can't see them that easily. Try it once but they are painfully slow.

If you're flying into the sun on a hot day, which ironically produces some of the worst visibilty they are easily obscured amongst the ground 'clutter' particularly as most of them are painted in dark colours. It they were white, like most aircraft, they would be easier to spot and given that they always seem to be floating round the Gatwick TMA (which can get busy) they are a pain in the backside because they have right of way and are susceptible to wake turbulence that even a little puddle jumper can produce.
As I said, they're like shed draggers. Slow and in the way. Not that I'm biased.

Excellent day out, weather was good. Had to help set it up and pack it away afterwards. Baskets can tip on landing sometimes so be prepared for that. Landed in a cow field and got my hands covered in dung when packing it away.
Dogs in back gardens looking up at you barking, hearing peoples' telephones ringing in their houses, I couldn't believe how quiet it was and what I could hear from the ground. Thin layer of smog over Aylesbury was visible too.

I did mine in the UK the other week in sunny Nantwich I bought it for the G/F`s Christmas present - and I must say its worth every penny here are some pics.
Inflation of the balloon
Can you spot the scoob (whilst taking off) she wasn’t happy about this pic ("you and that bloody car")
Couple of stunning views
Dont look down - yes they are cows!!
A bumpy landing in some bloke’s field
Did get cancelled first time due to weather - but we was lucky as some peoples was cancelled 7 times or more
Next on the list is swimming with sharks (Yeah right)
