Looking at doing some national advertising so wanted a 0845 number, does anyone know of a reliable supplier. There are hundreds coming up on google but I dont want to set it up and then find out they have gone skint 2 weeks later!

We had the yellow pages guy in at work the other day. I am positive he said* they give you free ones if you are in the yellow pages with a decent sized ad. They also monitor them to show you which numbers are dialled most.
*EDIT: He asked if we had one and we said yes, asked if we paid for it we said yes so his response was 'ours are free and we do this that blah blah blah'.

One thing to consider is the way telephone providers are going. I say this because I pay £7.99/month for unlimited phone use from my provider. (Conditions apply).
Lots of phone providers offer these packages now, BUT, whereas you'd except mobiles to not be included in the tariff, they don't include 0845 numbers either, and therefore charge you for calling them.
I purposely look for non-0845 numbers when calling anybody as it stands to reason why.

Anyway I have knocked the idea on the head as they are too costly to telephone (inline with spoons coments) might try a 0800 number instead...
