Default F1 Grand Prix Ball

Anyone go to this last year? Is it worthwhile?

Do the tickets go for any less £££ nearer the time?

I went to this a few years back at the Albert Hall and was pretty dissapointed. There were no current drivers there - just a Jordan (I think) test driver.

Eddie Jordans band played and Atomic Kitten 'performed' (mimed) a couple of tunes.

Striling Moss made a very brief visit and that was about it.

I'd check their promised itinerary very closely....

I went two years ago - great party in a huge marquee at Stowe. Kid Creole played, Human League and a couple of other bands of the same ilk.

About 40% of the tables were Pertemps and so there were lots of young ladies there.

There were a few drivers and whilst I was there I blagged a test drive in a Pagani Zonda!!

Eddie Jordan was also there - there was an F1 race in dodgem cars but they all cleared off before dinner.

There was also a massive firework display and regular interludes of exotic (erotic) dancers all around the room.

I think your on the wrong track there. Your confusing the GP Ball with the GP party which was a charity event in aid of Sid Watkins brain foundation charity.
