Anyone go through this way today? I am just wondering what the 25 or so men of Asian appearance wearing dayglo vests with what looked like Arabic script (that style) on the back, standing 2 or 3 to an entrance and exit to the roundabout holding either sound meters or polution sensors I guess, were doing!

It was odd as they all had these little handheld devices pointed at the road, they were all of Asian appearance and they had non-english script on the back!

Weird - any ideas?

Did they think the roundabout was their ship, come to take them back, perhaps?

Maybe the Home Office had sent out 25 letters to deportees who had gone awol, promising £30 an hour to take traffic noise at the spot.
When they all turn up, they send the fuzz, pile em into back of a wagon and chuck em out of the country....JOB WELL DONE.

Probably a TFL sub contractor doing research to justify introducing a bus lane and or traffic calming due to pollution or congestion!

Seeing all these type of people poping up in Kensington in readiness for congestion charge so they can f*ck the roads up there like in central london.
