Default STANDARD LIFE SHARES?

Anyone got any??

What they gonna be worth when the finally come through??

We have around 500 if they aint kiddin us??

is around £3 a piece about right????

Why would they be kidding you? As a mutual with-profit policy holders own the company.

The shares will be worth £2.40-2.60 at a guess.

Aaargh our company pension policy used to be with them. My mate had a with profits pension and just got 400 shares. I got nowt as chose a managed funds policy - doh!

Ah but the With Profits pension is likely to be worth peanuts now! You could be better off in a managed fund!

The secret is to mitigate the risk and not have all your pension eggs in one basket!

ive got around 400 the price is £2.40-£2.90

and he prob gets a bonus each year of 1% while you prob made 17% last year.

We have done some large scale work for standard life (construction, offices etc) and they are in a terrible financial state.
They had to remortgage loads of property to cover their debts and to top it off the guys who were representing the firm (all paid up employees) all jacked their pension in to go with another firm.
NOT a good recommendation imho

well they are about to get a few ££££ from their IPO so i dont think they are going under just yet!
