ITV are doing exactly the same as Channel 4 did. Stick the WRC on at Midnight. I missed the last round because I forgot to set the video for it. It really p1sses me off this. They stick some repeat cr@p programme on instead. The only thing I can think of is that they want to drop it totally from there schedule. I think ratings have not been as they thought it would be (for that patronising bitch they have reading from a script) and have decided they no longer want it. Stick it on at midnight, ratings fall to the floor, and they make that the reason not to buy the rights come renewal time.
I really think they could have made a really good show. I enjoy ITV's coverage of F1 (way better than the cr@p the BBC did) and was hoping they would really try with the WRC. They should have kept Robby Head, as that bitch they have now just ruines the show.
If the BBC get the rights to show it, we're bolloxed then, as all we'll get is 10-15min of highlights in the middle of Grandstand, like they used to do.

Good, drop it from the TV and let it regress into the spectator sport it once was. I stopped going to the Rally GB as the emphasis was on the camera and not the enthusiasts. Yes, the sponsors will be smaller and yes the wages of all involved will be lower, but the sport will be saved from the disaster that is F1.

Does this World Touring Cars thingy (on TV at the moment) really get more viewers than the regular WRC prog?!

Sebastian Loeb - brilliant, fabulous driver, but the best ever because he's hit his 25 wins quickly...? NO!
He just hasn't got any competition! Each rally is pretty much a three horse race, back in my day, there would have been up to ten challengers in every rally.
IMHO, Sainz's wins are far better than Loeb's
