Disputed pub quiz q
Quizmaster asked
Who said "It's either the wallpaper or me"
We put Oscar Wilde and this is a misquote (can't remember the actual quote... similar but different)
He reckons it was George Bernard Shaw... the coont docked us two marks for dissent when we politely pointed out that he has confused his posterior with his ulna. If someone can give me the correct OW quote you can have a 1/6 share in the bottle of wine we would have won (or you can take the 47p cash value if you are teetotal )
Answer on a post (not card) by 9.00 in the morning otherwise I will remember the quote and keep the 47p for my own delights
