Default What rent should be paid on £150,000 flat?

The flat is in Soverigh Harbour, Eastbourne and was wondering if there is a formula for working out what the rent would be?

The rental income isn't really related to the value. It depends how much demand there is in the area, so do what he says.

Masses of houses and flats for rent in the Sovereign Harbour. Buy-to-let City, so shouldn't be too high.

what fast bloke said. some investors will have criteria they need to make things work, but that's their own personal requirement.

Rents have not risen anything like as fast as capital values.

Rent will be exactly the same as all similar size / quality flats in the same area - but, if there is a glut of empty flats in the area, then it'll need to be slightly cheaper if you want to get someone in there quick.

Would bet its a high probability that whatever the rent is, it wont be enough to cover the mortgage if the flat was bought in the last couple of years.

I suppose its where you live tbh
The location I used believe it or not was Sovereign Harbour, Eastbourne, for a flat.

Oh, and a quick deletion of the thread there Mitchy260.
