Well that my evening b*llocksed !
After my first week at work, me bursting to impress and doing an extra hour to show willing for a few days (wont last long, honest), being polite, trying not to put my foot in it, longer drive etc, well the missus announced that she was going out to the Opera FFS, the Opera, what do the silly trouts think they are doing, nobody goes to the opera of their own free will apart from arty farty London types pretending to be cultured, all they really want to do is go and see a film with lots of car chases in.
Wouldnt be so bad (for me anyway) but she has also arranged for my youngest lads (of three) mate to come around for a sleepover, anyway, he's is a nice lad but mad as a f*ckin badger, usually sporting some stitches or concussion, he is also epileptic so I have some drugs to give him, I cant give him certain food, cant let him get wet or feed him after midnight, I think I may be confusing him with a Gremlin but its easy done, I just got the bugger off the shed roof as he was attempting to establish a base camp for the ascent onto the extension roof. Make Beavis and Butthead look sane.
Got him in after much cajoling and he did eventually come in when I caught him, I put him down and he got past me and we had to repeat the procedure, he's in now and has found the Piano and is bashing out some choons, has been for 20 minutes and I think I am going to lose it.
One high point is me and a mate from up the road were chatting and a very foxy lady stopped to ask if any houses were for sale, she left her number just in case, have left it on the wife diary, that should be worth an argument in the morning, I said to my missus and her cronies that I sincerely hoped that the Opera thing was a cover for going to a nightclub and meeting middle aged men, otherwise I have lost all my faith in them.

J4CKO, you have a way with words which makes me PMSL.
And yes, Opera is for pretenious London people. No one would go for pleasure surely, it's in Italian FFS!!!
