Question

Hi Computer and Management Folk,
I am currently doing some work for Age Concern Charity (in Guildford). I am involved in everything including refurbishment of their information centre and fund raising. Critical to this is getting a decent - but not too complicated - database/management information system on their computer. They currently use something called MAXIMISE which doesn't seem much use to me. In the past I have used ACT and I have a lot of time for this; those that know ACT will know its features and word processing capabilities (although I have never been able to use the label facility).
I want to recommend that they purchase ACT but before I do does anyone know of similar software that I should consider. If you use ACT and think it is one of the best please also reply because that will give me more confidence in recommending it.
Also if anyone is in the Guildford area who feels like helping a decent charity in its efforts either with a funding contribution or equipment (old PCs desperately needed) to help our refurbishmant programme please contact me. Perhaps your company may want to contribute? Thanks in advance. Contact bumph on profile but my phone at home is 01403 823507 (fax 01403 823509). David Lock.

Edited to add my name!!
