Manchester/Warrington to Heathrow Sat AM - how long?
I have to be at heathrow airport tomorrow for 8:30am. AA Routeplanner says 3.5 hours, but i guess this takes in to account traffic and stuff. I'll be getting on the M6 at Warrington as i live over that way.
I'm hoping it will be failry quiet on a sat morning? and i can sit at 85-90.
Anyone any suggestions as to how long it'll take?
Avi

If your taking the toll road (£3.50) then 3.5 hours with no delays is probably right, BUT the junction to heathrow is a nightmare sometimes, so id give it 5 hours and time to settle in

Bloody hell.. i was kind of expecting it to take less than 3 hours in reality. think i'll set off just after 4:30, that gives me 4 hours... then jump back on the motorway and head home.. god what a day i have tomorrow, but the missus is back after 9 months away

Autoroute reckons 2 hours 43 mins to Heathrow, which should be ok early on a saturday morning. It suggests M6 / M42 / M40.
I've gone from west of Preston to Heathrow in less than 3 hours early on a saturday morning down the M6 / M1, and that was before the M6 toll road, so you shouldn't have any problems.
John.
