Afghan hijackers not going to be deported..
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/4757523.stm
Looks like the 9 afghans and their families who hijacked a plane at Standsted in 2004 wont be deported - theyve been fightening their cases (must have cost the tax payer a fortune), and they cant get sent back to Afghanistan because they might not be 100% safe there
Seems its virtually impossible to deport people from this country. As soon as they get onto UK soil they have more rights than UK citizens
The safety of UK citizens clearly isnt taken into account in any of these cases.

I predicted this from the beginning. Fascinating conflict of laws that allows hijackers from certain countries to get to where they want and stay there. The international community really need to sort this out.
I suspect they'll use it as another excuse for air marshalls

New Labour are quite happy to send British troops there to die however.
Clearly their lives are not worth worrying about. Muslims lives however are sacred and must not be put at risk under any circumstances.

Following the ruling, the Home Office said: "The hijackers are not deemed to present a threat to the UK's national security at present and it remains our intention to remove them as soon as it is possible to ensure that they can be returned in safety to Afghanistan."
So the Home secretary has been in office 2 maybe 3 days now and this is his first decision nice one mate lets hope you don't live to regret it

LOL, we have more asylum seekers here than in any other country in the world... something about geneva conventions and the red cross etc
besides, you need a 30% deposit to buy a house in this country

Totally unlike the UK where you apply, and if you get turned down (unlikely) you just either;
a) keep applying until you get accepted
b) sue to the government with free legal until you get accepted
c) stay anyway at tax payers expense, making full use of the free heathcare etc as you know you wont get deported

Why didn't the SAS just blow the plane up in the first place?
Why can't we be more like the Austrailians? They let a boat full of imigrants starve & rot off there coast. Wouldn't let the step foot on Austrailian soil.

"It is common sense that, to deter hijacking and international terrorism, individuals should not be rewarded with leave to remain in the UK," said a Home Office spokesman"
and because the High Court Judge expressed his anger that the Home office didn't follow correct Human rights procedures (delaying their appeal to stay in the uk), he let them stay in the UK, and forced the Home office to pay legal costs!
WTF?? They hijacked a plane by force ffs!

Blair has been saying things that ppl like to hear for 9 years. Trouble is he doesnt actually DO anything about things.
Worst thing is the hijack was in 2000, so these terrorists have been living in the UK at our expense since then.
