Would highly recommend the Renaissance Golden View Resort, located on Ras Um Sid point. About 10 minute cab ride from Namma Bay
Part of the Marriot Chain http://marriott.com/property/propert...WT_Ref=mi_left
We went there twice last year and are going back again in June.
Ranked No#1 out of 97 sharm el sheikh hotels on trip advisor
http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotels-g2...ai-Hotels.html
Here is the view of the hotel from the sea.
Great hotel, own reef for snorkling, dive centre on site.
If you want more info let me know

Three words of advice:
"Slip, slap, slop"!
Nothing to do with applying liberal amounts of sunscreen. It's the nosie you make after you've eaten the seafood or drunk and non-bottled water!!
Seriously though, be very careful what you eat and drink out there!

Got home yesterday and my wife had booked in the Conrad Sharm , then read the reports on tripadvisor and phoned them back today to swap , ended up costing a bit more in admin fee's , and the holiday ended up quite expensive and its only B&B now instead of AI , but looking at most of the comments I dont think I'll be missing much in way of food , we couldn't swap tour operator , but sh+t happens , now booked into the Renaissance Golden View Resort on the 8th June

Good choice. I don't think you will regret it. We went half board first tme and have since just gone B&B. The cost of a meal in Namma Bay is very cheap and you get more choice that way.
The mexican on the hotel grounds is excellent, there is a great lebanese one in namma bay on the roof of the shopping centre. Fanaraw I think.. The choice is endless.
Hope you enjoy it too. Give us a shout via e mail if you want to meet for a beer out there.
