The last meal
Having a chat with the people at work today about what you would eat as your last meal if you were on death row. All being chefs i half expected all the french fancy stuff like white truffle risoto etc etc but no all just home cooked like mum used to make kinda stuff. so heres mine
crab meat and sweetcorn soup
sweet and sour pork with egg fried rice
apple crummble and ice cream (like my nan use to make)
bit of an odd combo but works for me
so come on then what would you all have?

I had the most bizarre thing at lunchtime that took a while to sink in how difficult it must be to make.
It was a Deep Fried Hens Egg!
It was actually the yolk covered in the lightest batter and crumb and then deep fried. But the really clever bit was that it was still soft inside!
Notwithstanding my last meal would be a big vegetable curry with pilau rice, black dhal without the ghee on top with a big fluffy nan bread. Yummy in the tummy

Vegtable Pakora to start.
Not so sure of the main course, but fillet steak would be one choice. Roast beef, gravy and horseradish is another. Prawn Pathia with Aloo Gobi also appeals.
After that lot, I don't think I could have much more than ice cream. (Although I wouldn't have to worry about indigestion)
